Excelling in Stewardship

Luke 12:48 (NIV) – “From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.”

As a good steward, you’re called not only to manage your finances wisely but also to care for your health, nurture your relationships, and excel in every area of your life that God has entrusted to you.

To steward your finances effectively, begin by following God’s instructions in His Word. Show your trust in Him by faithfully giving back a portion of what He has blessed you with. Then, responsibly manage your expenses, address any debts, allocate funds for savings, and set aside some for personal enjoyment.

Caring for your health involves regular exercise, balanced nutrition, and supplementing your diet with essential nutrients. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, so honor God by taking good care of it.

In stewarding your relationships, commit to daily prayer for your friends, regular communication, and meaningful interactions centered around the Word of God. Encourage one another and support each other’s spiritual growth.

In your marriage, focus on loving your spouse unconditionally, praying for them, and investing quality time together. Cherish moments of laughter, intimacy, and shared experiences, nurturing a bond that reflects God’s love for His people.

As stewards of your children, affirm their worth daily, instill in them confidence in Christ, and prioritize genuine engagement and attentiveness in their lives. Be their prayer partner, always uplifting and encouraging them to pursue what God is calling them to do.

In your ministry, serve with excellence, diligence, and wholehearted dedication. Prepare diligently and remain ready to fulfill God’s call at any moment.

Remember, God calls us to a life of excellence, which includes stewarding our possessions and responsibilities with care and gratitude. Whether you own or rent, treat your home and vehicles as blessings from the Lord, maintaining them with diligence and pride.

By excelling in stewardship, you not only honor God but also position yourself to receive even greater blessings from His hand.
